Picking your children up from school is one of the more stressful parenting tasks – outside the school gates really can be a nightmare and people parking inconsiderately doesn’t help
All parents that take a car to pick their kids up from school know how much of a pain it can be to get the prime spot outside the gates.
But how far would you go to park your car outside your child's school at the end of the day?
School-run parents are involved in a parking row with residents near Castle Bromwich infant school in Birmingham who are threatening to name and shame drivers online for their behaviour, the Sun reports.
The parents have been accused of parking irresponsibly – leaving cars on pavements and even parking on zig-zag lines – and now residents are pleading with police to take the matter seriously for fear of an accident happening.

As well as being a safety hazard, the chaotic parking has destroyed grass verges in the neighbourhood.
One mum was particularly concerned for the safety of the children walking home from school as she compared the streets nearby to a 'race track'.
But the drivers don't seem to feel too bad about their actions, with some laughing it off and one dad who had parked up near the school admitting to the publication that he "didn't care" about his parking because he wasn't breaking the law.
Others claimed they didn't see an issue because they thought it was unlikely the person whose driveway they'd parked on was even home at the time.
Local driving instructor Craig Underwood, 51, also shared his thoughts on the issue, admitting he'd argued with school-run parents that had parked on his drive.
He told The Sun: "It does my head in. It’s morals, at the end of the day. I wouldn't park on zig-zags or across someone’s drive, even if I had kids to drop off and was running late.
"People haven’t got the same morals nowadays. They just don’t care – they wouldn’t like it outside their own houses."
He added that it's not just happening in Birmingham though and it now seems to be common everywhere.
