What Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck’s Life as Newlyweds Is Really Like: ‘There’s Zero Drama’

Don’t take Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck’s relatively low profile since getting married as any sign of trouble between them. A source spoke to Entertainment Tonight about what the couple’s day-to-day life together is like following their two weddings this summer. Things are just about perfect for Bennifer—or so the source made clear.

“Jen and Ben love married life,” the source began. “Jen is so content with being a wife and being married. Ben makes her feel so loved and there’s zero drama. Things are better than ever and they’re so happy.”

“They love to just have down time where they lounge around, which is nice,” the source added, explaining they particularly like watching movies and TV shows together at home.

Communication is great between the two as well, and despite both being celebrities, they aren’t competitive: “They both talk a lot about and listen to each other and give advice,” the source said. “Both of them have so much happening in their careers but it’s not competitive. Jen gets to be herself and not apologize for her success. Ben has his own career and it’s great. It works well. Jen thinks Ben is so amazing on the inside and the outside.”

Affleck and Lopez made their event debut as a married couple last week at Ralph Lauren’s spring/summer 2023 fashion show in Los Angeles. Considering that the couple wore Ralph Lauren to their Georgia wedding ceremony (the fashion house made Lopez three different dresses), the fact that its fashion show served as their first industry event as husband and wife was particularly poignant.
