What has become a wild and unpredictable NFL season could get even crazier in Week 8. With the Los Angeles Chargers and Kansas City Chiefs on bye, there is an opportunity for more teams to shine as there are a lot of matchups on tap featuring teams trying to assert their positioning into the playoff picture.
Some of the most intriguing contests in Week 8 include the Patriots’ trip to MetLife Stadium to take on the Jets while the 49ers and Rams finish their season series at SoFi Stadium, but what games will be available in your area and who will be calling the action? Thursday, Oct. 27
Thursday Night Football (Amazon Prime)
Baltimore Ravens (4-3) at Tampa Bay Buccaneers (3-4): Al Michaels, Kirk Herbstreit
Week 8 kicks off with Tom Brady staring at a must-win game as the Buccaneers take on the Baltimore Ravens. The matchup is more promising on paper than some of the more recent Thursday night contests.
Sunday, Oct. 30
NFL International Series (ESPN+, 9:30 a.m.)
Denver Broncos (2-5) at Jacksonville Jaguars (2-5): Steve Levy, Louis Riddick, Dan Orlovsky
The NFL’s international series continues with a matchup between the Broncos and Jaguars in London. The game will be available exclusively on ESPN+.
CBS (Singleheader)
Pittsburgh Steelers (2-5) at Philadelphia Eagles (6-0) (Red): Jim Nantz, Tony Romo
New England Patriots (3-4) at New York Jets (5-2) (Blue): Ian Eagle, Charles Davis
Las Vegas Raiders (2-4) at New Orleans Saints (2-5) (Green): Kevin Harlan, Trent Green
Miami Dolphins (4-3) at Detroit Lions (1-5) (Orange): Andrew Catalon, James Lofton
Tennessee Titans (4-2) at Houston Texans (1-4-1) (Yellow, 4:05 p.m.): Greg Gumbel, Adam Archuleta
Jim Nantz and Tony Romo will be headed to Philadelphia for the battle of Pennsylvania between the Eagles and Steelers, which will go to most of the country. The most intriguing game on CBS’ slate may well be the Jets-Patriots tilt, which won’t go outside the Northeast.

Carolina Panthers (2-5) at Atlanta Falcons (3-4) (Blue): Kenny Albert, Jonathan Vilma
Arizona Cardinals (3-4) at Minnesota Vikings (5-1) (Green): Chris Myers, Mark Schlereth
FOX’s early slate features just three games but most of the country will see the Cowboys-Bears matchup. An underrated game in this time slot is Arizona’s attempt to get back to .500 against the Vikings.
FOX (Late Window)
San Francisco 49ers (3-4) at Los Angeles Rams (3-3) (Red): Kevin Burkhardt, Greg Olsen
New York Giants (6-1) at Seattle Seahawks (4-3) (Blue): Kevin Kugler, Mark Sanchez
Washington Commanders (3-4) at Indianapolis Colts (3-3-1) (Green): Brandon Gaudin, Robert Smith
There are also three games in the late window with FOX’s A-team heading to SoFi Stadium to call the 49ers-Rams matchup. Giants-Seahawks is the only game in this window featuring two winning teams while Sam Ehlinger will make his first NFL start for the Colts against the Commanders.
Sunday Night Football (NBC)
Green Bay Packers (3-4) at Buffalo Bills (5-1): Mike Tirico, Cris Collinsworth
The Packers will try and snap out of their funk in a tough spot against the rested Bills on Sunday night. The contest should still get a ton of attention given the interest in Aaron Rodgers’ matchup against Josh Allen.
Monday, Oct. 31
Monday Night Football (ESPN)
Cincinnati Bengals (4-3) at Cleveland Browns (2-5): Joe Buck, Troy Aikman
It’s fitting that the two NFL teams who have shades of orange in their primary color scheme will play on Halloween. Joe Buck and Troy Aikman are on the call for this AFC North grudge match better known as the battle for Ohio.
