Approaching the halfway point of the season, these NFL head coaches are on the hot seat.

Eventually, some other NFL team will make the change like the Carolina Panthers did with Matt Rhule and fire their head coach.

Although it may not be in the immediate aftermath of Week 8, this is around the time of the year where bad teams can no longer convince themselves they are anything other than that. From injuries, to poor game-planning, to bad draft picks, whatever the reason, the NFL is adept at running through coaches at an alarming rate. For certainty, more than one will be gone here soon.

Here are five head coaches who need to start winning some games to avoid a bad Black Monday.

No doubt about it, this is not going to end well for the Indianapolis Colts. By losing to the Tennessee Titans for the second time this season, it does not seem likely that the Colts will win the AFC South for the first time since 2014. Even more troubling, head coach Frank Reich is going with former Texas star Sam Ehlinger at quarterback over veteran Matt Ryan. Good luck with that.

The cat is officially out of the bag, as the Colts low-key have no idea what they are doing. While Chris Ballard is a well-respected general manager in this league, his head coach Frank Reich will probably cost them both of their jobs at the end of the season. This just isn’t good enough anymore. Even at 3-3-1, you cannot lie to yourself and say the Colts will be a force in the AFC.

The best thing the Colts can do is miss the AFC playoffs, clean house and start over from scratch.
