Irina Shayk Reportedly ‘Loves’ Bradley Cooper and Wants to Get Back Together
Friendly exes and co-parents Irina Shayk and Bradley Cooper aren’t fully back to dating yet but are considering it, sources have made clear to People and E! shortly after photos of the two wrapping an arm around each other during a New York City walk came out and sparked reconciliation rumors.
Shayk in particular would like to be with Cooper again. A source close to Shayk told People, “[They] have both been single and started hanging out more together. Irina is very happy to spend time with Bradley. She very much loves him.”
Shayk and Cooper originally dated for four years before they broke up in June 2019. The two share five-year-old daughter Lea de Seine.
“After they split, she missed him,” the source said of Shayk. “She feels very proud how they have been able to get along and co-parent their beautiful daughter. Irina loves watching Bradley with their daughter. He is a wonderful dad. She would like for them to be back together.”
While Shayk wants that future, it’s not quite their present, E!’s source also shared. There’s “nothing official” to share about their relationship status, the source noted, but there are feelings there.
“They never stopped loving and caring about each other,” the source explained. “They love their daughter and being a family. They enjoy spending time together and are doing more of it lately. They are in a great place and very happy.”
Shayk and Cooper themselves have not commented on their relationship.
In March 2021, Shayk spoke to ELLE about Cooper and why she keeps details of their dynamic to herself. “I never understood the term co-parenting,” she started when asked about their relationship then. “When I’m with my daughter, I’m 100 percent a mother, and when she’s with her dad, he’s 100 percent her dad. Co-parenting is parenting.”
“My past relationship, it’s something that belongs to me, and it’s private,” she said of her and Cooper’s time together romantically. “It’s just a piece of my inner self that I don’t want to give away.”
