Inside Kendall Jenner and Devin Booker’s Secret Breakup and Their Future
Kendall Jenner and Devin Booker have split up for the second time, according to a source talking to Entertainment Tonight. The 27-year-old model and 26-year-old NBA star had a brief break up shortly after Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker’s Italian wedding in June, then quietly reunited. The source says now that the pair “broke up last month” after schedule conflicts made their relationship too difficult.
“They are both still young and extremely busy in their careers,” said the source. “It was becoming difficult for them to prioritize their relationship with their schedules.”
The insider added that “there are no hard feelings between them and the decision was mutual.”
“They still care about each other,” the source continued. “They are both enjoying single life, staying busy, and spending time with loved ones.”
The pair were first romantically connected in April 2020, and began dating openly in June of that year. They didn’t go “Instagram official” until February of 2021, on Valentine’s Day.
A second source told ET that the former couple “want to remain supportive of each other” despite the break up.
“They had a lot of love for each other and connected over many things, including loving the wilderness and being down to earth,” said the source. “They can appreciate that they shared a very natural connection and communicated openly with each other… They tried to be understanding of each other’s busy schedules, but it just got to be too much for now. Devin is a gentleman and has always made sure to treat Kendall with respect. He plans to continue doing that.”
Jenner was supposedly much more into Booker after they reconciled in September.
“Despite all her sisters being moms and settling down, Kendall was never interested in that,” a source said at the time. “She’s always been focused on her career and her friends, but lately her priorities have shifted.”
Though she allegedly now wants a more consistent relationship, Jenner is in “great spirits” since they broke up.
“She’s been really busy and is trying to take her company to the next level, and is really focused on work,” said the source, though “she’s not really open to dating right now.”
