The world’s longest car has been restored.
According to Guinness World Records, the world’s longest car known as “The American Dream” is back up and running after sitting unloved for several years.
The American Dream, a super limo measuring over 100 feet long, broke its 1986 record title by a small fraction on March 1, 2022.
According to Guinness, the vehicle was built in two sections, joined in the middle by a hinge for turning tight corners.
The American Dream is longer than 12 Smart Fortwo cars parked in a single file line and can fit more than 75 people.
The American Dream was first recognized by Guinness World Records in 1986.
It was often rented for cinematic appearances and was featured in various movies.
The once famous vehicle sat in a warehouse for several years, deteriorating as parts of the car became unsalvageable over time.
