OBJ’s latest Twitter activity will Cowboys fans cocky about chances to land star WR
One of Odell Beckham Jr’s latest Twitter likes suggests he’s excited about the possibility of donning the star with the Dallas Cowboys.
In the age of social media, it can be hard to tell exactly what’s real news and what’s simply noise. With how long the Odell Beckham Jr. sweepstakes have gone on in 2022, we’re grasping at straws to find clues on where he’s leaning toward signing.
What we do know for sure: Beckham is centered on three teams — The New York Giants, Buffalo Bills, and Dallas Cowboys. The two New York teams he has already met with, and the Cowboys meeting comes on Monday.
One of Beckham’s recent Twitter “likes” suggests perhaps he’s most excited about Dallas, though.
Odell Beckham Jr. has yet to meet with Cowboys, but appears excited
A fan Tweeted a photoshop of Beckham in a Cowboys uniform and Beckham liked it. This is the Tweet in question:
Dallas has been seemingly favored for a while now, with even experts suggesting as much:
The Cowboys have been most aggressive and most transparent about their desire to have Beckham on the squad. Second in that department is probably the Bills, but that train is being pushed by Von Miller, mostly. In Dallas, everyone is publicly pushing for OBJ. Jerry Jones, Ezekiel Elliott, Dak Prescott, and Micah Parsons have all commented on wanting Beckham in Dallas at one point or another.
It seems as if the Dallas visit being the last stop for Beckham is intentional, perhaps a final check to make sure the fit is there and that OBJ can see himself playing there. This Twitter like is enough to give Cowboys fans a reason to feel cocky ahead of Beckham’s visit and ultiamte decision, which should be coming mid-week.
Buckle in, folks, we should figure out where Beckham is landing soon enough. For now, I’m putting my money on Dallas.
