Josh Allen takes note of reporter after Bills offense gets called out (Video)

Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen had a simple response to a reporter who said their offense doesn’t look Super Bowl-caliber.

The Buffalo Bills held the top seed in the AFC entering Week 14 after they defeated the New England Patriots and the Kansas City Chiefs lost to the Cincinnati Bengals the week prior. The Bills were out for revenge against the New York Jets, the team who beat them back in Week 9.

Buffalo was victorious on Sunday afternoon, beating New York 20-12 to improve to 10-3 on the season. After the game, quarterback Josh Allen spoke with the media, and one reporter said that Buffalo’s offense “doesn’t look like an offense that’s going to be good enough to win the Super Bowl right now.”

Allen’s response was simple — “okay,” followed up with a shrug. The video of Allen’s response to the reporter comes courtesy of ESPN’s Kimberley Martin.

One word was all Allen needed to respond to the comment.

Buffalo’s offense did have their struggles against New York’s defense on Sunday. The Bills were just 2-for-13 on third down conversion plays, and picked up 14 first-downs as compared to the 19 recorded by the Jets. All-in-all, the Bills were able to pick up just 232 yards of offense on the day.

Allen completed 16-of-27 pass attempts for 147 yards and one touchdown, while running for 47 yards and a touchdown on 10 carries.

Meanwhile, Buffalo’s defense attacked the quarterback at will. They recorded four sacks and eight quarterback hits. In fact, two of those hits forced Mike White out of the game, as he picked up an injury to his ribs. He did return and finish the game.

The Bills have four more games remaining on the schedule, as they look to lock up the first-round bye in the playoffs. However, two of their opponents are playoff contenders in the Miami Dolphins (Week 15) and Cincinnati Bengals (Week 17).
