Lilibet Wears Adorable Hand-Me-Down from Archie in Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s Netflix Doc
Even royal kids get hand-me-downs.
In the first episode of Harry & Meghan, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s new Netflix docuseries, the couple’s one-year-old daughter, Lilibet “Lili” Diana, wears an adorable accessory previously seen on her big brother, three-year-old Archie Harrison.
Lili’s cameo comes from a home video included in the doc, showing the baby girl strapped to mom Meghan’s chest as the Duchess of Sussex feeds the family’s chickens in the backyard of their Montecito home. The clip shows Lili wearing a gray beanie with two small pom-poms, identical to a hat Archie wore back in 2019.
The Sussexes’ now-defunct Instagram account shared a photo of Harry carrying Archie while standing in front of a lake. At the time, the little royal sported a brown jacket, blue jeans, suede booties, and the same gray beanie that his sister now wears.
The Sussex children make rare appearances all throughout the first three episodes of the docuseries. The Duke of Sussex also speaks candidly about his sense of duty when it comes to being a father.
“My son, my daughter, my children are mixed race, and I’m really proud of that,” he says in the documentary. “When my kids grow up and they look back at this moment and they turn to me and say, ‘What did you do in this moment?’ I want to be able to give them an answer. I think it’s such a responsibility as human beings that if you bring a small person into this world that you should be doing everything you can to make the world a better place for them.”
Volume II of Harry & Meghan, which contains Episodes 4 through 6, officially drops at midnight PT/3 A.M. ET on Thursday, December 15.
