Tom Brady’s latest sideline rant is further proof he’ll play until he’s 50 (Video)
Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady tried to fire up his teammates during team’s Week 14 loss to the San Francisco 49ers.
Remember when Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady said he would play until he’s 45 years old. Well, he’s the age right now, and it doesn’t seem like he has any intention to retire any time soon.
The Buccaneers haven’t had the most ideal of seasons, as they’re 6-7 and hold a narrow first-place lead in the NFC South. Their seventh loss of the season happened in Week 14, losing rather convincingly to the San Francisco 49ers by the score of 35-7.
There was sideline footage of the Buccaneers, and Brady was trying to hype up his teammates.

Well, that didn’t necessarily work, as the Buccaneers weren’t even in the game. The seven-time Super Bowl champion completed 34-of-55 pass attempts for 253 yards and one touchdown, while throwing two interceptions.
Meanwhile, 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy threw 16 completions for 185 yards and two touchdowns on 21 attempts in his first official start.
Brady does have a decision to make this offseason, as he is scheduled to become a free agent. Specifically, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero report that “all options are on the table” for Brady after this upcoming season. If he is to continue playing, it will be another highly publicized trip to free agency much like he did in the 2020 league year when he left the New England Patriots for the Buccaneers.
Whatever happens, you can’t say Brady doesn’t have the passion to win at 45 years old. This video is proof of that.
