Commanders fan rushes the field and gets trucked by security (Video)
A Washington Commanders fan who made it onto the field during the Giants game took a big hit when he got sandwiched by security.
The Commanders welcomed the Giants to Washington for Sunday Night Football and one fan wasn’t content to simply watch from the stands.
He had to run out onto the field…and get absolutely destroyed.
As is inevitable for field invaders, this one caught the eye of security and took the punishment as well when he got wrapped up and taken down by the two guys chasing him.

At least the fan didn’t take a hit from an actual player. That might have been the only thing worse than getting pancaked between two grown men and slammed to the ground.
Why was that guy on the field in the first place? Who knows. Hopefully, he got his money’s worth because he was almost certainly escorted out of FedEx Field and won’t be welcomed back any time soon.
Both the Commanders and Giants occupy the final NFC playoff spots but the Seahawks and Lions are lurking. A loss for either side on Sunday night would be costly.
Washington struck first with a 41-yard Joey Slye field goal. However, the second quarter belonged to the Giants. Kayvon Thibodeaux forced a fumble at the one-yard line and recovered it for a score. Later, Saquon Barkley punched in a three-yard touchdown to give New York a 14-3 lead going into halftime.
The Commanders struck back with a 19-yard touchdown pass from Taylor Heinicke to Jahon Dotson, though a missed extra point complicated matters, especially when Graham Gano booted home a 50-yard kick to put the Giants up 17-9. Slye grabbed three points back with his own 51-yard kick early in the fourth quarter.
