Who plays on ‘Thursday Night Football’ tonight? Time, TV channel, schedule for NFL Week 16 game

This week’s Thursday Night Football matchup is between the Jets and Jaguars, two teams hoping to help shape the AFC playoff picture.

Thursday Night Football hasn’t been the most thrilling night of NFL football this season, but with playoff races heating up, there’s no reason it couldn’t be a must-watch this week.

The Jaguars and the Jets are facing off this Thursday Night with some hefty postseason implications.

Jacksonville is coming off victories over the Titans and the Cowboys. All of a sudden, they have realistic playoff hopes. A win over the Jets would keep those hopes alive moving into the final two weeks of the season.

The Jets will have their home fans cheering them on, and they’ll need them to be at their best to stop their recent skid. Three straight losses to the Vikings, Bills and Lions have New York sitting at 7-7, behind the Dolphins and Patriots in the standings, and in need of help to make it into the postseason.
