As the season winds down, we make one bold prediction for every game remaining on the Minnesota Vikings schedule, along with playoff positioning.

These final three weeks are going to be filled with plenty of storylines in the NFC. The Minnesota Vikings technically even have hope to secure the No. 1 seed in the conference.

With Jalen Hurts’ health up in the air, nobody knows what will happen over the next three games for the 13-1 Philadelphia Eagles. Mathematically, though, the Vikings have hope.

Philadelphia has to play two tough divisional games against the Dallas Cowboys and New York Giants, with a pretty feasible game in between as they take on the New Orleans Saints. You know what they say, though: any given Sunday.

Back to the Vikes. They have three weeks to tighten up a few spots in preparation for a playoff run. Fans want to see the disastrous first half performance put to bed from a week ago. And, it starts in Week 16 when Minnesota continues their quest for the highest possible playoff seeding at home.

Minnesota Vikings vs. New York Giants Week 16 Prediction

After that historical, yet also embarrassing matchup with the Colts, the Vikings host Daniel Jones and the New York Giants. It’s a game that the Giants need in order to stay afloat in the NFC playoff picture, so they’ll be playing Minnesota closely.

The Giants have seemingly done just enough to win games this year, as Jones has only tossed 12 touchdowns. In fact, Jones has finished with zero passing touchdowns on five different occasions this season.

He’ll have some success against this Vikings defense, though, which has been highly vulnerable as of late. Despite Jones’ best efforts, the Giants will go down in defeat and end up muddying the NFC playoff picture even more.

Bold Prediction: Daniel Jones throws for 250 yards and a touchdown, rushes for 80 yards and a touchdown, but Vikings win 24-20
