Best anytime touchdown scorer picks for Packers vs. Dolphins in Week 16 (Randall Cobb to dominate Dolphins))

Sunday’s triple header of NFL action gets started in Miami when the Packers look to keep their playoff dreams alive against the Dolphins, who are also in a heated postseason race.

While you can check out our game preview, and full prop bet article here, we are going to attack the anytime touchdown market for this game with the highest total on the board. Green Bay’s offense will need to find the end zone against Miami’s high powered passing game, but who will Aaron Rodgers look for?

Here are three Packers vs. Dolphins anytime touchdown picks we are eyeing on Sunday afternoon:

Best Anytime Touchdown Scorer Picks for Packers vs. Dolphins

  • Jaylen Waddle (+170)
  • Randall Cobb (+420)
  • Durham Smyhte (+450)

Jaylen Waddle (+170)

The Dolphins pass game ranks fifth in terms of Dropback/Pass with the likes of Waddle and Tyreek Hill using their burst on intermediate routes to slice through defenses. Hill is the gem of the Dolphins offense, but Waddle has benefitted from the attention Hill receives, sitting at over 1,000 yards on the year.

Waddle also has as many touchdowns as Hill, yet the former Chiefs receiver is priced at -120 while Waddle sits at +170. I’ll take the cheaper option at + money considering Waddle is as much of a touchdown threat as Hill.

Randall Cobb (+420)

With the Packers season hanging in the balance, look for Rodgers to target his reliable receiver in Cobb, who played 41% of snaps in his first game back from injury and hauled in four targets. I expect Cobb’s target share to go up and for him to be in on red zone sets.

On the year, Cobb averages over four targets per game, but I expect Green Bay to lean on the passing game against the Dolphins defense that is 26th defending the pass this season.

The odds are too long on Rodgers’ safety net.

Durham Smythe (+1200)

Smythe played 59% or more of snaps the past three weeks as he continues to see the field for the Dolphins offense. Can it result in a touchdown? He has a target in two of the Dolphins past three games and I believe this game can result in plenty of scoring chances, so I’ll count on Smythe to sneak out of a blocking scheme and catch a touchdown.
