Cowboys vs. Titans Prediction and Odds for Week 17 (Malik Willis will struggle against Dallas)
There’s good news and bad news for the Tennessee Titans.
The bad news is their season is on life support. They’ve blown their big lead in the AFC South and now will have to try to win the division in the final weeks with their back up quarterback, Malik Willis.
The good news is their Week 17 game against the Dallas Cowboys is meaningless. Win or lose, they’ll have the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 18 with the divisional crown being award to the winner.
With that being said, I’m sure they’d like to beat a top contender in the Cowboys and go into Week 18 with some momentum. They have a big mountain to climb if they want to pull it off. Let’s dive into the betting odds.

Cowboys vs. Titans Prediction and Pick
There is no way you can convince me to bet on the Titans to cover this spread with Malik Willis in at quarterback. The rookie has had a rough 2022 campaign and now he has to face one of the best defenses in the league.
Willis has completed just 50.8% of passes and he has zero touchdown throws to three interceptions. He threw for only 99 yards and two interceptions in the Titans game against the lowly Houston Texans last week, giving them their second win of the season.
He’s in for a challenge against a Cowboys D that ranks inside the top 10 in virtually every single statistic that exists.
If there’s one way that the Titans can stay in this game, it’s by riding Derrick Henry. The Cowboys main weakness on defense is their ability to stop the run, where they rank 20th in opponent yards per carry.
Even with that being the case, I can’t envision it’ll be enough to keep pace with the Cowboys, especially considering Dan Quinn, the defensive coordinator for Dallas, will likely stack the box with Willis presenting little threat with the passing game.
Let’s also consider the Titans defense 7.5 yards per pass attempt over their last three games, one of the worst marks in the league. Dak Prescott will have a big game, and the Titans won’t be able to keep pace.
I’ll back the Cowboys to win with ease on Thursday night.
