Cowboys vs. Titans Best Prop Bets for Thursday Night Football (Dak Prescott poised for big game)

The Dallas Cowboys are still in the hunt for the NFC East while the Tennessee Titans are trying to recapture the divisional crown in the AFC South with two weeks to go.

The two divisional hopefuls will face off in the final edition of Thursday Night Football of the 2022 season.

The Titans are dealing with a plethora of injuries, and now they’re opting to start third string quarterback, Joshua Dobbs, over rookie Malik Willis.

The Cowboys enter the game as double-digit favorites over the hometown Titans.

If the spread is too big for your liking, perhaps you should eye some player props instead. If you’re looking for a few, I have you covered.

Let’s dive into my three favorite player props for the final edition of Thursday Night Football.

Best NFL Prop Bets for Cowboys vs. Texans

  • Dak Prescott OVER 234.5 passing yards
  • Hassan Haskins OVER 49.5 rushing yards
  • Trevon Diggs to record an interception +400

Dak Prescott OVER 230.5 passing yards

Dak Prescott has to be licking his lips at the matchup he has in front of him on Thursday night. The Titans have allowed opposing quarterbacks to average 7.5 yards per throw against them over their last three games, and they’re also giving up an average of 279.6 total passing yards per game this season, the second most in the NFL.

Prescott is averaging 245 passing yards per game in 2022, well above his set total for tonight. Unless the Cowboys are winning by so much that they bench Prescott at halftime to rest him, I can’t see how he doesn’t go over this total tonight.

Hassan Haskins OVER 49.5 rushing yards

The fact the Titans are opting for Joshua Dobbs at quarterback tonight, tells me they’re going to lean on the run game. With Derrick Henry doubtful for the game, Hassan Haskins is the next man up.

He has a good matchup in front of him as well. The Cowboys rank 20th in the NFL in opponent yards per carry. Their inability to stop the run is the weakness of their defense, so as long as Haskins gets the carries, he should be well positioned to tally at least 50 yards on the ground tonight.

Trevon Diggs to record an interception +400

Trevon Diggs and the Cowboys secondary will get to face a third string quarterback tonight, which means they’ll be hunting for turnovers the entire game. Trevon Diggs is known to be a ball hawk. He likes to bait quarterbacks into making throws, and then he jumps on them.

That strategy has come back to haunt him against top tier quarterback in the NFL who don’t fall for his tricks, but he may be able to pull it off against a guy like Dobbs.

At +400, I think it’s worth a sprinkle.
