Best NFL prop bets for Vikings vs. Packers in Week 17 (Back a vintage Rodgers performance)

Back in Week 1, the Minnesota Vikings took care of business against the Green Bay Packers, walloping them 23-7, and took off from there, going 12-3 for the season and winners of the NFC North.

It took the Packers a while to turn things around after that loss, they struggled for most of the season, but Aaron Rodgers has turned things around for three straight wins. Green Bay’s season isn’t over just yet and a win today will keep their playoff hopes alive.

Rodgers will be at his best today against the worst secondary in football, so let’s get into my favorite Vikings vs. Packers prop bets and try to make some cash this afternoon.

Best NFL Prop Bets for Vikings vs. Packers

  • Aaron Rodgers Over 251.5 Passing Yards (-112)
  • Romeo Doubs Anytime TD +230
  • Dalvin Cook Over 75.5 Rushing Yards (-110)

Aaron Rodgers Over 251.5 Passing Yards

I just fade the Minnesota secondary every single week as they’re the absolute worst unit in the NFL. The Vikings are allowing 281.5 passing yards per game and 7.5 yards per attempt this season. Even last week Daniel Jones threw for 334 yards.

Rodgers hasn’t been playing at his MVP level because of the nagging thumb injury, but he’s throwing the ball better week after week, and I think this could be an offensive explosion.

Romeo Doubs Anytime TD

Christian Watson is becoming Rodgers’ favorite target in the red zone, and he can take pretty much any pass to the house, but Watson is a true game-time decision with a sore hip, so let’s turn to the other rookie receiver to reach the end zone instead.

Dalvin Cook Over 75.5 Rushing Yards (-110)

For as bad as the Vikings are at stopping the pass, the Packers are at stopping the run. They’re allowing five yards per carry, 144.4 yards per game, and last week even Miami was running for about five yards a touch.

If the Vikings want to stay in the game, Cook’s emergence will play a significant role.
