NFL Draft Odds for No. 1 Overall Pick

The College Football Championship is over (mercifully for TCU) and so is the NFL regular season. The Bears have the No. 1 overall pick in the NFL Draft and a bit of a conundrum on their hands as they decide whether to trade the first overall pick for more assets and build around quarterback Justin Fields (most likely), or trade Fields and draft a quarterback with the first overall pick.

That’s led to some interesting opening odds for who will be the No. 1 overall pick in the NFL Draft. Two quarterbacks lead the way followed by a couple of defensive superstars. After that, there’s a big gap in the odds.

The combine and team workouts are still months away, so it’s obviously extremely early in the process. But it’s never too early to take a peek at the odds and understand who Vegas favors being the first pick in the 2023 NFL Draft. After all, Vegas usually gets it right.

Odds to be selected No. 1 overall in NFL Draft

These odds come from FanDuel.

  • Bryce Young (-110)
  • CJ Stroud (+200)
  • Jalen Carter (+500)
  • Will Anderson (+500)
  • Will Levis (+2000)
  • Paris Johnson (+8000)
  • Bryan Bresee (+10000)
  • Peter Skoronski (+10000)
  • Anthony Richardson (+10000)

Alabam QB and 2022 Heisman winner Bryce Young is atop the odds followed by Ohio State QB CJ Stroud. Georgia stud defensive lineman Jalen Carter and Alabama pass rusher Will Anderson are behind them. After that, as mentioned, there’s a big gap.

If the Bears stay pact at No. 1, the odds would favor Carter or Anderson considering Fields proved he’s worth building around in his second season under a new coach. If they trade back, Young and Stroud become the frontrunners.

It’s too early to make a bet, but it’s fun to speculate. Let it begin!
