NFL picks against the spread for every game in Divisional Round (Eagles will demolish Giants)
It’s time for the Divisional Round of the NFL Playoffs!
Throughout the regular season, I gave you my best bet against the spread for every single game. I am once again doing it throughout the postseason.
If you don’t care about the spread, and only want to know my picks to win each game, check out my moneyline picks article here.
If you want my very best bet for each game as well as my best player prop for each game, check out this week’s episode of the Bacon Bets Podcast.
Let’s dive into my spread picks for all four NFL Divisional Round games.
NFL Divisional Round spread bets
Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Kansas City Chiefs
The Chiefs have some red flags when it comes to covering big spread. For one, they had the second worst red zone defense in the NFL, allowing their opponents to score a touchdown on 67.27% of their red zone trips against them. It’s tough to cover a spread of over a touchdown when you aren’t able to hold your opponents to field goals when they get to your red zone.
Another issue is turnovers. Their average turnover margin this season is -0.2, which ranks 22nd in the NFL. Those two factors leave the door open for a potential Jaguars cover.

New York Giants vs. Philadelphia Eagles
It’s time for midnight to strike and for the New York Giants Cinderella season to turn into a pumpkin. They have a net yards per play of -0.4 this season, and they can’t stop the run, rankings 30th in opponent yards per carry.
I expect the Eagles to run all over them and win this game with ease.
