Sarah Jessica Parker Shares Her Skincare Routine For Glowing Skin At 57
Sarah Jessica Parker swears she’ll never consider plastic surgery.
In fact, she has no plans to slow down the aging process by trying cosmetic procedures. “I’m not willing to devote a lot of real or psychic time to it,” Parker told Bustle in June. “I’m also not delusional about the passage of time and the reality of it,” she says. She’s much more interested in keeping her skin healthy, and she finally revealed the products she uses to help her achieve a glowing complexion at 57.
Parker swears by the Hydrate + Plump Eye Cream, Hydrate + Plump Serum Capsules, and Hydrate + Plump Moisturizer with SPF 30. All three products include nourishing ingredients like hyaluronic acid for plump, hydrated skin.

“I use the moisturizer after I’m clean and showered and everything, and then I actually use it also at the theater when I get to work and I mix it with my base,” Parker told Bustle. “I also use it at night as an eye cream with this other RoC product, the retinol. But I’ll use that once or twice a week at most because it’s got retinol in it so you have to be tender.”
The Sex & the City star partnered with drugstore skincare brand RoC to create a limited-edition three-piece set of her favorite products for the brand’s #LookForwardProject, which provides resources for cultivating a more positive and optimistic view of female aging. The set comes with an SJP + RoC signature bag for storing the products with style, and 100% of profits will go toward the SeekHer Foundation which supports women’s mental health awareness.
If, like us, you can’t get enough of the And Just Like That… star’s beauty recs, you’re in luck. She also shared her simple makeup go-tos. While Parker says she doesn’t wear makeup often, she rarely passes up the chance for a smokey eye moment. “It’s the one thing I think I can do,” she told Bustle.
The secret to SJP’s signature smokey look is the Laura Mercier Caviar Eye Stick, which comes in a variety of shades and is available at Sephora. “I start with that and do a line and I’ll go inside [the water line] sometimes–not always though,” she says. “Then I just blend and blend, until it’s where I want it–and I go pretty big.”
With the products she uses, Parker is on a mission to change the way we think about aging. “I just don’t want a young woman who has a lot to offer being consumed with looks or the idea of aging,” she explains. To Parker, what makes someone beautiful “is really about a bunch of other things unrelated to their face or wrinkles or what they’re wearing.”
