Easy Money University: Chiefs OL has iconic playoff player intro

Chiefs offensive lineman Orlando Brown has a unique player intro for national TV broadcasts, promoting “Easy Money University.”

Fans watching national NFL broadcasts are used to hearing recognizable names from the University of Alabama to the Ohio State University. Chiefs offensive lineman Orlando Brown likes to go a different direction.

Ahead of Saturday’s playoff game against the Chiefs, Brown dropped a unique player intro.

“Easy Money University,” Brown said.

Twitter loved it, but what’s he even talking about?

What is Easy Money University?

No one seems to know what it is, but it’s a place Orlando Brown is fond of.

He has said “Easy Money University” for multiple player introductions in the past. He also used a version of the memorable catchphrase to the camera after a Ravens touchdown in 2020 when he played for Baltimore.

Sadly, there is no actual “Easy Money University,” at least not one accredited or legitimate.

Instead, it seems to be a mindset. Lessons from the Easy Money University would probably be focused on working smarter not harder.

Someone should ask Brown to give a seminar on that one.

Where did Orlando Brown play in college?

Brown played college ball at the University of Oklahoma where he had almost immediate success. He won a starting job as a true freshman and went on to win the 2016 and 2017 Big 12 Offensive Lineman of the Year awards. He was a unanimous All-American in 2017.

Whether or not Oklahoma doubles as “Easy Money University” is a question only Brown can answer. It certainly gave him a leg up to start earning big money as he was selected in the third round of the 2018 NFL Draft.

He signed a franchise tag tender with the Chiefs worth $16.7 million for the 2022 season and is in pursuit of a sizable long-term contract.
