Damar Hamlin’s thank you video to Bills, NFL fans will bring you to tears
Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin posted an emotional video on Saturday, thanking all for their support during his recovery from cardiac arrest.
Back in Week 17, Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin needed medical attention on the football field at Paycor Stadium after a hit. After receiving CPR and being transported to a medical facility, it was revealed that Hamlin had suffered cardiac arrest, and that he was in critical condition. Not only was the football world following it, but also those who don’t watch football. Now, weeks after the incident, Hamlin is out of the hospital and recovering.
On Saturday night, the Bills posted an emotional video of Hamlin, sitting in the film room at the team’s facility, to thank everyone who helped him out and supported him throughout his recovery.
“I’m so thankful for everybody, I know that it isn’t enough just to be thankful,” said Hamlin. “This is just the beginning of the impact that I wanted to have on the world, and with God’s guidance, I will continue to do wonderful and great things. I couldn’t do this without any of the support and the love, and I can’t wait to continue to take you all on this journey with me.”

Hamlin thanked a variety of individuals for helping him in his recovery, such as the Bills training staff, the doctors, first responders, and medical personnel at University of Cincinnati Medical Center, and doctors and medical personnel at Buffalo General Hospital.
Additionally, Hamlin sent his thanks to his family, friends, teammates, the Bills organization, fans those who donated to the “Chasing M’s Foundation,” and to the children who wrote him letters during his recovery.

Weeks after being released from UC Medical Center and Buffalo General Hospital, Hamlin had been active on social media, especially when talking about Bills games. Hamlin and his family were in attendance for the team’s Divisional Round game against the Cincinnati Bengals, where he pumped up the crowd.
Weeks since his scary medical incident, Hamlin wanted to let the world know how much he appreciates the support from everyone.
