It is uncertain whether the milky fish represent threat to humans
(Web Desk) – Fish with mushy milk-colored flesh have started to show up along New Zealand s northeast coast.
Anglers are growing more concerned about the dangers of consuming such fish because the source is yet unclear.
After the unknown disease was originally discovered in August reports have been slowly rising ever since.
The 1.2 million hectare Hauraki Gulf Marine Park which is off the coast of New Zealand s North Island has seen sightings of the milky fish all over it.
Although test findings have not yet revealed any indications of sickness or infection it is uncertain whether these milky fish represent a threat to humans.
