See Beyoncé's Two Other Grammys 2023 Dresses, Including a Nude High-Leg Slit Gown
Beyoncé may have been initially late to the Grammys, but the now most-decorated artist in Grammys history served far more than just one look last night. The singer debuted two additional, exquisite outfits during the night.
First, she shared a look at the nude custom Balmain high-leg slit dress she wore to celebrate her first three Grammy wins of the night. Two were announced during a pre-ceremony, and the third was announced during the broadcast, but Beyoncé was stuck in traffic. For those awards, Beyoncé was awarded Best R&B Song (“Cuff It”), Best Dance/Electronic Recording (“Break My Soul”), and Best Traditional R&B Performance (“Plastic Off the Sofa”).
She wrote, “We won 3 y’all! To my Hive, thank y’all so much for all of your love and loyalty! Big thank you for the BREAK MY SOUL and CUFF IT wins!!! To The Dream, Tricky, HOV, and Big Freedia. I love y’all! Syd, I’ve always been such a fan of yours. Thank you. Nova Wav, Morten Ristorp, Raphael Saadiq, and Nile Rodgers, thank you for pouring into CUFF IT. Big thanks to Sabrina Claudio, Nick Green and Patrick Paige II. PLASTIC OFF THE SOFA is my favorite song on RENAISSANCE most days. It’s hard to pick though. Haaa. It feels great to be honored for the vocal performance. Thank you to all the talented vocalists who killed those beautiful TikTok renditions! I feel very grateful and filled with joy!”
Then during the show, after arriving in a gold and silver Gucci dress, Bey changed into a black custom Schiaparelli haute couture gown.
Beyoncé accepted her history-making Grammy, the one that made her break the record for most Grammys won by any artist, in her Gucci dress. Beyoncé won the Best Dance/Electronic Music Album award for her album Renaissance.
In her speech, Bey said,
“I’m trying not to be too emotional. I’m trying to just receive this night. I want to thank God for protecting me. Thank you, God. I’d like to thank my uncle Johnny who’s not here, but he’s here in spirit.
I’d like to thank my parents, my father, my mother for loving me and pushing me. I’d like to thank my beautiful husband, my beautiful three children who are at home watching.
I’d like to thank the queer community for your love, for inventing the genre. God bless you.
Thank you so much to the Grammys. Thank you.”
