Here are all the terrible questions asked on Super Bowl media night

Super Bowl week kicked off on Monday as the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles fielded reporters’ questions on media night, some of which were wiser than others.

Over the course of the next five days, the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles will get set for Sunday’s highly anticipated matchup in which one lucky franchise will get to hoist the Lombardi Trophy.

In this final week of preparation, the Eagles, in particular, were asked some rather silly questions, leaving many scratching their heads.

Let’s take a look at a few of them:

Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni was asked, point blank, whether the Super Bowl was a “must-win game.”

Kudos to Sirianni here for not injecting his answer with an overdose of sarcasm and instead responding with a simple, “Yes.”

Onto the next one.

Sirianni was also asked, hopefully by a different reporter, which Eagles player he wouldn’t let date his daughter, a trendy locker room question as of late. Sirianni’s daughter is five years old, which he ever so kindly pointed out.

The last one to Philly is less of a question and more of an apology, which makes it all the more laughable.

One reporter admitted to Jalen Hurts that he didn’t think the Eagles could’ve made it to the Super Bowl with Hurts as their quarterback. He goes on to say, “I just want to tell you, man to man…. I’m sorry.”

Man to man, Hurts likely wasn’t too offended by the reporter’s comments since many fans and pundits alike doubted him from the start, and he nonchalantly brushed the apology to the side: “Cool.”

Hurts will let his quarterback play continue to do the talking, having put together an MVP-caliber 2022 campaign and getting Philly to the Super Bowl for the fourth time in franchise history.

As for Kansas City, Super Bowl media night was full of surprising revelations on the Chiefs’ side: wideout JuJu Smith-Schuster voiced a wildly unpopular take on cheesesteaks. Then, punter Tommy Townsend apparently talks the most trash on the team, and tight end Travis Kelce would put up a good fight in a karaoke battle against his brother, Jason Kelce. Neither Kelce brother can compete with Ravens kicker and opera singer Justin Tucker, though.

Here’s hoping reporters put a little more thought into their Super Bowl post-game questions on Sunday.
