True Weird Stuff Podcast w/Sheri Lynch Launches Friday

NOW! Media launches “True Weird Stuff,” a new podcast hosted by Sheri Lynch, co-host of syndicated Bob & Sheri. Born out of Lynch’s passion for the inexplicable but true, the weekly thirty-minute show debuts this Friday the 13th and will explore stories that are real, true, verifiable (mostly), but also deeply weird, quirky, odd, unexpected, peculiar and mysterious.
“I’ve spent my whole life struggling to NOT talk about all the weird things that fascinate me and often make other people uncomfortable, such as reincarnation, near-death experiences, aliens, or the idea that reality is a simulation,” said Lynch. “It’s hard masking so much weird. The True Weird Stuff podcast is where I can bring all the quirky, cryptic, creepy, odd, and just plain weird together in one place and share them with my listeners.”
“When Sheri came to me with this idea, I was instantly excited,” added NOW! Media co-owner Tony Garcia. “Sheri is the hardest working and most creative person in media. I’m confident True Weird Stuff will be a great addition to our soon-to-be-announced podcast network.”
Lynch has authored or co-authored five books, including the recently published “It’s Always Something: A Coloring Book for Exhausted Adults,” Cooking with Cats: Favorite Recipes of Crazy Cat People and the Felines We Feast With” and “The Book of Bob,” all published by NOW! Media. A sixth book is in the works, with plans to publish in 2023.
