Trevon Diggs has a perfect plan to help the Cowboys at wide receiver

Dallas Cowboys cornerback Trevon Diggs had a big plan to bring the team some help at the wide receiver position.

The Dallas Cowboys enter another offseason without a Super Bowl or NFC Championship Game appearance. The Cowboys were held to just 12 points against the San Francisco 49ers in the Divisional Round, with the wide receiver position being a notable area of concern from that game. Cowboys fans are wondering how the team can improve. Cornerback Trevon Diggs has an idea.

While speaking with RJ Ochoa of Blogging with the Boys, Diggs asked Cowboys fans to tweet to get his older brother and Buffalo Bills wide receiver Stefon to Dallas.

Having Stefon Diggs in a Cowboys uniform would certainly excite the fanbase.

Diggs joined the Bills after the 2019 offseason by way of a trade from the Minnesota Vikings. He helped take Buffalo’s offense to another level and gave quarterback Josh Allen a No. 1 wide receiver downfield. The results saw Diggs record over 100 receptions and 1,000 receiving yards in each of his three seasons with the Bills, and made it to the Pro Bowl in each year. Not to mention, he led the NFL with 127 receptions and 1,535 receiving yards in the 2020 season.

Recently, Diggs signed a four-year, $96 million contract extension that doesn’t kick in until after the 2023 campaign.

The Cowboys, who were looking to shed some salary, opted to trade top wide receiver Amari Cooper to the Cleveland Browns. Come playoff time, especially against the 49ers, his absence loomed large. In the season, Cooper posted 78 receptions for 1,160 yards and nine touchdowns.

One way or another, the Cowboys could add a wide receiver, whether that’s in free agency or through the NFL Draft. As for Diggs, the team’s star cornerback is asking the fans to tweet to try and bring his older brother to Dallas.
