Zendaya Changed Into a Gorgeous Pink Cutout Dress Inside the 2023 SAG Awards

Twenty-four hours after serving two looks at the NAACP Awards, Zendaya brought double the fashion moments to the 2023 SAG Awards, too. On the red carpet, Zendaya earned her spot on everyone’s best dressed lists in her custom pink Valentino Haute Couture gown, covered with 190 roses.

And inside the ceremony, she changed into a pink, black, and teal cutout gown by Giorgio Armani. She accessorized with a statement choker ahead of her presenting at the ceremony.

Zendaya is up for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Drama Series tonight for her work in Euphoria.

The actress spoke about her red carpet fashion and how she and stylist Law Roach approach each look in her October 2021 InStyle interview.

“I think about red carpets as having their own characters and narratives,” she said. “We build a little story for all the looks. It’s like an extension of my acting career in a weird way—you just pop this wig on or whatever it is. Clothes sometimes are very emotional, so I get to embody these different facets—maybe they’re of myself, or maybe they’re alter egos. But I get to meet these different women through clothes.”

She listed her favorite red carpet looks at that point, saying, “Joan of Arc [at the 2018 Met Gala]. The pink Tom Ford breastplate [at the 2020 Critics’. Choice Awards] was one of my favorites. Nothing could hurt me—I was like a warrior. Oh, and the Moschino butterfly dress [at the Australian premiere of The Greatest Showman in 2017].”
