Miley Cyrus Is Returning to Disney With a Concert Special—Here’s How to Watch
It’s been a decade since Miley Cyrus announced Hannah Montana was “murdered” on SNL, and though we probably can’t expect her to don the blonde wig again soon, she is returning to her Disney roots in another way. To celebrate the arrival of her new album, she is hosting a concert special on Disney+ that debuts today, March 10.
Miley Cyrus – Endless Summer Vacation (Backyard Sessions) begins streaming on the platform at 1 P.M. EST/10 A.M. PST, and will feature a mix of performances and interviews with Cyrus. Fans will notice from the title that this marks a return to her famous Backyard Session performance series, which she kicked off in 2012. While her full set list remains secret, viewers can expect Cyrus to bring her hit single “Flowers” to the stage, along with “The Climb” (a classic!), and seven more tracks from the new album. There will be a performance from Rufus Wainwright as well.

The special, which Cyrus also executive produced, was filmed in Los Angeles at Frank Sinatra’s former home—the same place where she filmed the “Flowers” music video. Earlier this week, she shared a clip where she explains the track sequencing of Endless Summer Vacation and how it was divided into two parts, an “a.m.” half and a “p.m.” half.
“The a.m., to me, is representing the morning time, when there’s like a buzz and an energy and there’s a potential of new possibilities, it’s a new day,” she says. “And in the nighttime, it feels like a slinky seediness, and kind of a grime but a glamour at the same time. And, you know, in the evening it’s a great time for rest, it’s a time to recover, or it’s a time to go out and experience kind of the wild side. And [in] L.A., there’s a certain energy to the night that you can feel trouble boil up to the surface and it’s very inspiring to me.”
