Best Ken Francis memes as Lamar Jackson saga goes off the rails

NFL teams received a memo that a man named Ken Francis was trying to negotiate for Lamar Jackson and the Ken Francis memes started flowing freely.

Just when you thought this NFL offseason and the Lamar Jackson saga couldn’t get any weirder, Ken Francis had something to say about it — or something to say to NFL teams.

The league sent a memo to teams on Thursday warning franchises that a man named Ken Francis was contacting teams trying to negotiate on behalf of Jackson. Francis is not a certified free agent under the NFLPA and NFL owners’ agreed-upon CBA and, as such, any negotiations or contracts would be voided in addition to fines being levied.

Francis, meanwhile, is apparently a Florida Man (in the least surprising turn of events known to man) and fitness equipment entrepreneur who claims he’s not been contacting NFL teams and is just business partners with the former NFL MVP, per ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler.

If this sounds nonsensical, it’s because it might as well be — especially because Jackson himself took to Twitter to deny that any of this regarding Francis was actually happening.

Regardless of what’s actually going on with Francis, Lamar Jackson and all of this, though, social media had an absolute field day with the Ken Francis meme in the wake of these reports.

But perhaps the best meme came from Jackson himself, who denied that Francis had been negotiating for the quarterback, then unleashed this beauty to express his own exhaustion with the saga.

Us too, Lamar. Us too.

Whether or not Ken Francis has actually been negotiating with teams or not, though, the truth of the matter is that he’s doing a bad job if he is. The quarterback has yet to reportedly receive an offer after being allowed to negotiate with teams once the Ravens placed the non-exclusive franchise tag on him.

So, alas, the saga will continue — just with decidedly less Ken Francis moving forward.
