LeSean McCoy cruelly calls out yet another legend from former team
LeSean McCoy continues to make himself enemies in cities he used to play pro football in.
For whatever reason, after LeSean McCoy retired from playing NFL football, he decided he wanted to become the best at running in another category. McCoy is definitely one of the best now known for running his mouth.
He suggested that Eric Bieniemy isn’t a good coach just a few months ago, putting himself out of favor with Chiefs fans, where he played in 2019.
Now, he’s alienating himself with Bills fans. Shady played in Buffalo from 2015-18.
Asked a simple question about Jim Kelly’s comments that Josh Allen needs a power running back, McCoy went on a tangent tirade about how Kelly is a far worse quarterback than he gets credit for.
“Nobody talks about how [Jim Kelly] came up short every year! Every year, every year! Nah. Nobody talk about that. Four times short! You supposed to be this great quarterback? Super Bowl. Loss. Loss. Loss. So…”
LeSean McCoy is really into making enemies, this time with Bills Mafia
LeSean McCoy says it how he sees it, you have to give him credit for that, I guess.
More often than not, though, how he sees it is a broad jump from how the general public sees things. Does McCoy know that he doesn’t necessarily have to take the nuclear route with his takes in order to get heard? He was a great running back for several years, by default, he can give us a perspective that other analysts can’t!
Calling out Jim Kelly is a very specific choice. It’s one thing to pick on someone like Bieniemy, who is a respected, but firmly “in this era” of Chiefs football. Kelly, on the other hand, is clergy to Bills Mafia. He transcends eras. Kelly is the all-time passing leader, and his public battle with cancer has been a rallying cry and inspiration for Buffalonians for some time.
There are two untouchables in Buffalo: Josh Allen and Jim Kelly. Shady decided to poke the bear. He’ll see his face plastered on a folding table that’ll get body-slammed through in no time.
