OBJ adds even more intrigue that a big Ravens move is coming

Odell Beckham Jr. stirred the pot on speculation that something related to the Ravens is coming soon.

Late Tuesday night, Lamar Jackson sent out a cryptic Tweet of a Spongebob gif that had fans working hard trying to decipher what it meant. Clearly, Jackson was happy, but what was it related to?

Did it mean the Baltimore Ravens had acquired another star receiver, like DeAndre Hopkins? Did it mean his contract situation had finally been resolved?

Or, worse, did it mean Jackson was traded?

Well, now we’ve got a Tweet from Odell Beckham Jr., as well. Take a look:

Let’s talk about what this could mean.

Between the two Tweets, we can see something is going on, and it must be relative to the Ravens. We can probably rule out Jackson having been traded, which was a longshot from the jump since teams have not had much of an appetite on trading for him.

“Bookum” could mean, according to Urban Dictionary, anyway, a friend or, well, a backside.

But it could also mean “Book him” as in, a trade is booked? Or Lamar Jackson’s new contract is nearly booked?

Both of those outcomes track with Jackson’s giddy Tweet on Tuesday.

Less interesting, it could be a reference to Devin Booker, who scored 47 points in the Suns first-round closeout game over the Los Angeles Clippers last night.

The truth is, no one is quite sure exactly what this means just yet. But if it has to do with the Ravens, chances are we’ll find out soon enough. Don’t be surprised if and when some news drops!
