What Time does Round 2 start of the NFL Draft?

The NFL Draft is here. What time can you expect the second round of the draft to start?

The next chapter of the NFL offseason has arrived in the form of the NFL Draft. Though the first round carries all of the intrigue, there’s plenty of reason to be attentive on the subsequent days and later rounds of the draft.

First-round talents that fall will get snagged and become known as massive steals in round two. Day two is also a key day for trades — this year, the Aaron Rodgers trade in particular — since it’s harder to trade players than it is draft picks. Players, once selected, are inflexible compared to raw picks because other teams may not be as high on prospects as others.

NFL Draft: What time does Round 2 start?

First of all, if you’re expecting Round 2 on Thursday, you are sadly mistaken. The first day of the draft, Thursday, is first-round only, creating a partition between the best of the best and the rest of the draft.

The second and third rounds take place on Friday before rounds 4-7 take place on Saturday.

On Friday, the second round starts at 7:00 pm ET, 6:00 pm CT.

The event takes place in Kansas City this year, and is free to the public.
