Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck Walk Hand-In-Hand Through Beverly Hills

On Saturday afternoon, Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck took a stroll through Beverly Hills, walking hand-in-hand. They were accompanied by one of J.Lo’s 15-year-old twins, Emme, though their brother Max was no where in sight. Lopez was wearing an over-sized khaki plaid coat with elevated shoulders and high-waisted, bell bottom jeans paired with a low-cut black blouse. She had on her classic aviator sunglasses and a pair of large gold hoops.

Affleck was wearing a grey blazer over a black button down and a pair of matching grey denim pants. Affleck has three children he shares with ex-wife Jennifer Garner, 17-year-old Seraphina, 14-year-old Violet, and 11-year-old Samuel. Emme and Max are co-parented by Lopez and her ex-husband Marc Anthony. Since their wedding in 2022, Affleck and Lopez have made a big effort to blend their families, though Lopez described it as an emotional transition while appearing on Today in January.

“We moved in together. The kids moved in together,” Lopez said. “It’s been, like, a really kind of emotional transition, but at the same time all your dreams coming true.”

She also mentioned in an interview with Vogue that Garner is “an amazing co-parent,” and that her husband and his ex “work really well together” to keep the kids happy and stable.

She was also asked about whether or not her name would change with her new marriage.

“People are still going to call me Jennifer Lopez,” she said. “But my legal name will be Mrs. Affleck because we’re joined together. We’re husband and wife. I’m proud of that. I don’t think that’s a problem.”

When pressed on whether she’d like to make Affleck “Mr. Lopez,” the Marry Me star laughed.

“No! It’s not traditional,” Lopez explained. “It doesn’t have any romance to it. It feels like it’s a power move, you know what I mean? I’m very much in control of my own life and destiny and feel empowered as a woman and as a person. I can understand that people have their feelings about it, and that’s okay, too. But if you want to know how I feel about it, I just feel like it’s romantic. It still carries tradition and romance to me, and maybe I’m just that kind of girl.”
