Patrick Mahomes rocks another fit at Miami F1 event day after Kentucky Derby appearance
One day after attending the 149th Kentucky Derby, Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes made the trip to the F1 Miami Grand Prix.
It has been quite the week for Kansas City Chiefs quarterback and two-time Super Bowl MVP Patrick Mahomes. To start off the week, Mahomes and his wife Brittany made the trip to New York City for the 2023 Met Gala. This past Saturday, the Chiefs quarterback traveled to Churchill Downs for the 149th Kentucky Derby, where he gave the ceremonial “Riders Up” call ahead of the race.
Just when you thought the weeks of events was over with, Mahomes was spotted at the F1 Miami Grand Prix with a new fit. When asked by USA Today’s Safid Deen about being at the Kentucky Derby yesterday while walking into Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, Mahomes said “I’m everywhere.”

Mahomes is, indeed, everywhere, especially based on this past week.
After watching Mage pick up the win at the Kentucky Derby, Mahomes was in attendance to see Max Verstappen pick up the victory in the F1 Miami Grand Prix for the Red Bull team. Finishing in second was Verstappen’s teammate, Sergio Perez. This is Verstappen’s third win of the season.
In fact, Mahomes exchanged jerseys with both Verstappen and Perez after the race.
Mahomes wasn’t the only NFL star down in Miami for the F1 event. Dak Prescott and CeeDee Lamb of the Dallas Cowboys and a variety of Miami Dolphins players, such as Jalen Ramsey, Christian Wilkins and Jaelan Phillips, were also in attendance.
The Chiefs quarterback is enjoying his offseason, to say the least. It won’t be long until training camp arrives and then the start of the 2023 NFL season. Mahomes is coming off of a season in which he won his second NFL and Super Bowl MVP awards. The goal, as always every year, is to contend for another Lombardi Trophy. The Chiefs will look to make it to the big game for the fourth time in six years with Mahomes as their starting quarterback.
