Taylor Swift and Matt Healy Reportedly Are ‘Inseparable’: ‘Things Moved Very Quickly’
In the last month, things have been heating up between pop star Taylor Swift and The 1975’s Matty Healy and they are apparently moving faster than either one of them anticipated. Swift recently broke up with her longtime boyfriend Joe Alwyn, and was seen soon after with Healy. The new couple have known one another for a long time and allegedly briefly dated at one point before drifting apart.
A source told The Messenger that Swift and Healy are now “having fun” again.
“[Healy] and Taylor have been friends for years and reconnected,” said the insider. “They had talked about working on music together years ago, but reunited through mutual friends.”
They added that once the reconnection happened “things moved very quickly and she was swept off her feet. They have been inseparable.”
Healy has even met Swift’s family and he apparently “fits right in as if they have been dating for years.”
The musician has made several appearances at Swift’s Eras Tour concerts, even performing on stage in the opening acts, and they were seen holding hands at Casa Cipriani in New York City, according to People. He was also spotted entering Swift’s townhouse in NYC, as reported by TMZ. They’ve previously worked in the studio together, and Healy said last November that he worked on a song for her album Midnights, though he added that their version of a certain song never got released.
The speed of their budding relationship has allegedly disturbed Alwyn, and a source told Daily Mail that the British actor felt a bit hurt by the development.
“Joe feels slighted and is distraught after seeing her budding relationship with Matt, but is doing his best to keep busy and focus on himself,” the source said. “Joe was aware that Taylor and Matt were making music together and collaborating. She told him that they had become friends and he trusted her.”
However, they denied there was any romantic “overlap” between Healy and Alwyn in Swift’s life.
