Taylor Swift and Matty Healy Were Reportedly Seen ‘Kissing’ on NYC Zero Bond Date
Taylor Swift may have been photographed this week going to New York City’s Electric Lady Studio alone, but make no mistake: Her romance with Matty Healy is still very much on. People reports that Swift and Healy had a date last night at Zero Bond, a members-only club in downtown Manhattan. While there’s no photographic evidence of them there, a witness told People that “Taylor and Matty were kissing.”
The two were not alone: Jack Antonoff, his fiancée Margaret Qualley, and Swift’s friend Zoë Kravitz were there as well. Antonoff is widely reported to be the person who reconnected Healy and Swift. He works with both as a producer on their music.
Swift was photographed earlier in the day at the studio. The photos offer a look at what she possibly wore to Zero Bond: a Ralph Lauren eyelet two-piece set:
Swift and Healy were last photographed together on May 16, leaving a party Swift threw at Electric Lady Studios side-by-side.
On May 19, a source close to Healy spoke out about their relationship to The Messenger. “[Healy] and Taylor have been friends for years and reconnected,” the source said. “They had talked about working on music together years ago, but reunited through mutual friends.”
After they reconnected, “things moved very quickly and she was swept off her feet,” the source continued. “They have been inseparable.” Healy has met her family, the source noted, and “fits right in as if they have been dating for years.”
The Sun, which broke the news of Swift and Healy’s relationship, ran a report this week claiming the pair intends to record music together.
A music insider alleged to the outlet, “Things are moving fast. They’re head over heels. It’s been decided he will help her pen songs and he might even provide some vocals. He’s been inspired after attending several shows on her U.S. tour, but they won’t have a lot of time to work together this summer, as The 1975 also have their shows.”
“They are working things out, though, and are keen to make it happen,” the source continued. “Ideally, he would like a proper collab, with the whole band involved. That’s the only way Matty will ever appear on stage with her. He feels he has to earn it.”
