Gigi Hadid and Leonardo DiCaprio Are Currently in a ‘No-Strings Situationship’
Gigi Hadid and Leonardo DiCaprio’s relationship status is kind of complicated, Us Weekly reports, but still on after a brief breakup in February. A source told the outlet, “Leo and Gigi have a friendly, no-strings ‘situationship’ right now. [They] travel so often so it’s best for them to keep their relationship open and fluid. Neither one of them wants to settle down at the moment.”
Hadid and DiCaprio were last seen together at a dinner hosted by British Vogue editor Edward Enninful in early June. They arrived separately, and DiCaprio’s parents were with him.
Hadid and DiCaprio were first romantically linked in September. Hadid had been initially reluctant to date DiCaprio, who was relatively fresh off his Camila Morrone breakup then. A source told Us Weekly on September 7, “Leo does have his sights set on Gigi, but she hasn’t shown an interest. They’re friends, but she doesn’t want to be romantic with [him] right now.”
A month later, they were seeing each other, but Hadid wanted to keep things casual. “Gigi has her walls up since she’s on better terms with Zayn and they’re doing well coparenting. She’s not rushing into a serious relationship,” a source told Us Weekly on October 5. “She’s very fond of Leo and is interested in pursuing a relationship with him but at the same time is very busy with her modeling gigs and being there for her daughter.”
When the pair’s breakup was reported in February, a source explained to People, “She hasn’t seen him for a while. She just decided that she was done with him. They are at very different places in life. She prioritizes being a mom. It was never that serious anyway. It kind of just fizzled.”
