Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds Visited the 'Great British Bake Off' Set
Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds recently delighted fans by sharing some photos on Instagram who have a crossover interest in competitive baking. The couple were on the set of the Great British Bake Off, cozying up to popular hosts Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith.
In a picture with the UK baking royalty outside the iconic white tent, Reynolds is smiling widely with his arms around them both.
“A full and unconditional hug of pure serotonin,” he wrote in the caption.
The judges seemed equally thrilled to have the couple on set, with Hollywood sharing a shot of himself and Lively seated inside with some cozy looking mugs.
“Sorry Prue, Blake (@blakelively) has taken your seat… welcome to cake corner Blake 😁#legendinthetent #getbaking,” Hollywood warned his co-host in the caption.
There haven’t been any announcements, but it seems like Lively and Reynolds might be on set for more than a taste test. Could they be future guest judges? Popular show winner Rahul Mandal asked in the comments, “What is happening here, forst Ryan, then Blake. Does that mean you and Prue are going to be in the next Deadpool movie?”
Neither the Deadpool actor nor his wife have ever bragged about their baking. In fact, Reynolds has even admitted to making a less-than-edible cake for Lively in 2018, sharing a photo of his creation. In the pic, he’s sitting on a couch and holding a cake pan with a strawberry heart in the middle.
“I baked this cake for my wife. The icing is glue, ‘cause I’m not a scientist,” Reynolds wrote in the caption.
In 2017, in a since deleted post, Lively also shared some inedible holiday treats her husband made.
“@vancityreynolds made some Christmas cookies,” she wrote about the cookie flop. “He’s verrry handsome though.”
He commented, “I wanted to be the first person to bake Christmas cookies using only a hammer.”
Maybe he’s been working on his recipes since.
