From potato chips shaped like animals to toast with famous faces, seeing shapes in food is not entirely unusual.
But bacon shaped like New Jersey?
One reddit user says yes, posting a photo of a bacon slice that appears to resemble the state of New Jersey.

While the Asbury Park Press is not able to confirm this is a real slice, and attempts to reach the redditor Incubus910 were unsuccessful, commenters on the post had a lot to say about the familiar-looking shape.
“Without looking at the title or the sub I was like, “Hey that’s Jersey!” said wisdom_power_courage.
Some picked out a few flaws.
“They put Cape May on backwards,” said DarthLithgow. “Shaped like the greatest state or not, that bacon looks awful,” facktoetum said.
Others looked at the breakfast food and had slightly more controversial thoughts.
“I like how the part that would be closest to Staten Island looks ashamed,” said crustang.
“Where is the divide of North and South bacon?” Whalespout asked. “I see central bacon,” TommyPrickels said.
