Spanx’s Viral Faux Leather Leggings Are $30 Off Right Now

It’s no secret that we here at ELLE.com love leather pants. Walk around the office on any given day and you’re likely to see at least one of us wearing leather bottoms of some variety. Similarly to how Aritzia’s Melina pants has owned the faux leather trouser market, no faux leather legging is quite as popular as Spanx’s. Now through August 6, you can shop the style at a big discount during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale.

First things first: These are said to be both camel toe- and muffin-top-proofed. I don’t know what magic or science was used to create this effect, but any owner of these leggings will testify that it’s really true, as many of my friends have informed me.

The leggings are offered in regular, petite, and plus sizes, and feature the same compressive, shaping fabrication you’ve always known and loved from Spanx. Be warned, though, they are said to run small, so you might want to size up. While they are a bit expensive at full price, Nordstrom’s savings event brings them to $65. For a pair of machine-washable faux leather leggings that can stand the test of time, that’s a darn good investment.

“These are some of the most comfortable leggings I own, and I have pairs that cost almost twice as much as these,” says one customer reviewer. “I love that they’re supportive around the waist but are seamless and don’t dig in! They make your backside look incredible and fit like a glove! The inside is almost like velour, very soft, yet the hug around your legs keeps you warm without overheating.”

While I haven’t personally tried these buzzy leggings, I have several friends who swear by them—and even give them as out as gifts. That’s how you really know they’re all that.
