Megan Fox Posted a Message to Commenters Concerned About Her Sheer Dress Showing Her Nipples

Megan Fox’s extremely sheer Jean Paul Gaultier dress captured some people’s attention and scandalized others…and it’s that second group to whom Fox sent a personal message on Instagram.

Fox shared photos of herself in the orange see-through dress and poked fun at those who thought her nipples were visible. “Before you start angrily typing- those are not my nipples, calm down,” she wrote. “They are safely and completely hidden under nipple covers so no worries, we will all live another day without a rip in the space-time continuum.”

ICYMI, Fox has been posting many headline-grabbing sheer or generally sultry looks on Instagram, from a green bikini to a wet white dress.

Earlier this year, the actress spoke to Sports Illustrated, after appearing on the cover of its swimsuit issue, about her lifelong private struggle with her body image.

“I have body dysmorphia,” she said in a video interview. “I don’t see myself the way other people see me. There was never a point in my life where I loved my body. There was never ever. When I was little, that was an obsession I had of ‘but I should look this way,’ and why I had an awareness of my body that young, I’m not sure. And it definitely wasn’t environmental because I grew up in a very religious environment where bodies weren’t even like, acknowledged. The journey of loving myself is going to be never-ending, I think.”
