Rihanna Wore a Crop Top and Unbuttoned Jeans in a Rare Look at Her Late Maternity Style
While Rihanna hasn’t revealed her second baby’s due date, the singer announced her pregnancy in February, meaning she is likely very close to welcoming her little one. The superstar has been photographed less frequently in the last couple weeks, but paparazzi captured a rare look at her very late pregnancy style on July 24. Rihanna was dressed casually, wearing a Rage Against The Machine crop top and open jeans for lunch in Beverly Hills.
Rihanna hasn’t revealed her second baby’s sex yet. But this isn’t surprising given she and her boyfriend A$AP Rocky kept the sex of their first child, son RZA, private too, despite knowing it during her pregnancy.
Rihanna spoke to British Vogue in an interview conducted before she announced her second pregnancy about Rocky having a clear preference for having a son. “Rocky wanted to know. He wanted a boy,” she said. “At first he was open, then he was like, ‘Nah, I want a boy, I’m sure.’ I was just like, ‘Lord, please let this man get what he wants…’”
Rihanna said at the time that she has no preference on the sex of the her future children. “Listen, I’m down for whatever,” she said. “My wish would be I would like to have more kids but whatever God wants for me, I’m here. I’m open [to whatever baby gender next]. Girl, boy. Whatever.”
She revealed that RZA and Rocky are very close to the point that she is a bit jealous of their bond. “I’m just sitting on the sidelines when they’re together,” she said. “I’m literally the girl trying to get into the boys club, waiting for my turn. He is obsessed with his father. And I’m like: ‘Didn’t I give birth to you? What is going on?’ Their connection is undeniable. The second Rocky makes eye contact with him he is on fire. The whole thing they say about sons and moms, it’s a myth. Sons and fathers is crazy. I realized that the validation that you really need as a boy is from your father.”
