Meghan Markle Wears Long Camel Coat and Colorful Scarf On Outing In California
On Thursday, Meghan Markle took a stroll through Montecito, California, wearing warm layers in pale shades of tan, blue, and white. The real showpiece was her long Max Mara Raspoli camel coat. Underneath she wore white pants, a beige cardigan, and tan Chanel slingbacks with black toes and heels.
Around her neck, the Duchess of Sussex had a blue and tan cashmere Hermès Rayures D’Ete Shawl wrapped around her neck several times. She accessorized with a Givenchy belt and was carrying a white Goyard tote.
While Meghan is in California, her husband Prince Harry was in Tokyo with his friend Ignacio “Nacho” Figueras, a fellow polo player. Figueras shared an Instagram post of himself shopping with Harry, claiming they were looking for gifts for their wives. The athlete is married to Delfina Blaquier.
They’ve since headed to Singapore for a charity polo match. Harry will be playing on the Royal Salute Sentebale Team against the Singapore Polo Club Team. The organization supports youth in Lesotho and Botswana. The money this year is going towards their Clubs and Camps program, which offers psychosocial support to young people living with HIV.
Their captain charity ambassador is Figueras, who told Hello! that they are both still thinking about their wives.
“We miss our wives very much,” he said. “This was a very short trip, although it’s a few days, it’s a lot of travelling for 24 hours in Japan and a few hours here, but we miss them we wish they were here.”
He also shared a bit more about the on-the-field rivalry he and Harry share.
“We have played together for a few years, and today we play against each other which is always fun,” said Figueras. “We’ve been joking about it for a few days we already played a game of foosball that he wanted to bring up because he beat me. But ask him what happened the last time we played tennis. It will be a fun game, today isn’t really about winning, it’s about charity, that’s what we’re here for.”
