Every bride wants to stand out and be the centre of attention on her wedding day. And the dress is a big part of that, which is why picking the perfect one is such a big task. Do you go classic or modern? Princess or sophisticated? White or ivory?
But for brides who REALLY want to make a statement on their big day, we might have found the perfect outfit. But it's not for the faint-hearted…
The picture has been posted on Facebook group Lisa's Wedding World Blog and has attracted thousands of comments from people across the world. According to the post the dress has more than 200 crystals and took more than 244 hours to make.
The dress might be a statement piece but one woman said her wedding is set to be ruined by her friend, who wants to wear a white, silk gown on her big day. A bride says she's been left with "bad vibes" after seeing the white, silk gown her pal of two years wants to wear to her upcoming wedding.
According to the distressed bride-to-be, who hasn't even bought her own dress yet, she was surprised to learn that her friend had already purchased hers so early, and was left positively stunned when she saw what it looked like. The gown in question – a £50 dress from Zara – is uncomfortably close to white, and she isn't entirely sure why she's decided to go for it, being a traditional sort of person who understands wedding etiquette.
She feels particularly on edge as this woman is an old friend of her fiancé, and is still on good terms with his ex-partner. Taking toReddit,the confused bride wrote: "She is a traditional person and she knows all the rules when it comes to a wedding. The colour is so close to white and it made me feel so uncomfortable. I didn't say anything since she bought it. But I just don't know why she is doing this."
Sharing a pic of the dress on the forum for reference, she continued: "The other thing that I want to mention is that I heard she is still friends with my fiancé's ex, I didn't make it a big deal or care since we are not so close and she was nice to me but now I'm getting bad vibes about this."
As difficult as it may be for her, many people urged her to remain firm with her friend, with some even arguing that she should be struck off the guest list altogether.
