Why Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet Are Reportedly ‘Not in a Committed Relationship’ Yet
Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet’s secretive, months-long romance is still on, private, and not very serious.
Us Weekly got an update on the two stars’ relationship status on August 28, with an insider explaining why they remain casual.
The source said, “Kylie and Timothée haven’t been spending that much time together recently because they both have very busy schedules. But they’re still communicating on a pretty regular basis and have remained friends despite the fact that they don’t hang out that often. They run in the same circle of friends, and have a great time when they’re together, but it’s not that serious. Kylie is having fun and although she’s open to seeing where things go, they’re not in a committed relationship. Things are very casual.”
In the last week though, Jenner and Chalamet have been caught hanging out twice by paparazzi.
Page Six revealed that the pair were photographed leaving Chalamet’s Beverly Hills home one after the other on Saturday. The report comes after Jenner was photographed at Chalamet’s place on Thursday, too.
Jenner appeared in her car in photographs Page Six obtained of her Saturday visit. Chalamet left five minutes before her in his Lucid electric sedan, the outlet wrote. Jenner, meanwhile, drove her Cadillac Escalade. Both wore black outfits and face masks.
The two were first reported to be dating in early April, although they were seen together in January at Jean Paul Gaultier’s Paris Fashion Week show. The couple has never addressed the dating rumors themselves.
This has been Jenner’s most private relationship so far. Sources have spoken occasionally to outlets about it.
Before Us’ update this week, a source last told Entertainment Tonight in mid-August that Jenner and Chalamet’s romance was still going well.
“Kylie and Timothée are still seeing each other when they can,” the source said. “Kylie’s busy with work and traveling a lot, but they make time for each other when it works and both like each other. They’re keeping things low key and chill for now, but get along great and have fun together.”
