Dakota Johnson Wears See-Through Flowy Knitted Dress to Telluride Festival
On Thursday, Dakota Johnson had a breezy spring look for the 50th Annual Telluride Film Festival in Colorado. For the event, Johnson wore a knitted dress made from cream yarn with long bell sleeves and a clinging silhouette. The long skirt swirled around her feet, and the pattern of the crocheted pattern revealed her white one-piece underneath.
Johnson wore the look with black boots and carried a black hand purse. Her long hair was down, and she wore a light makeup palette with dark pink lips. Around her neck was a simple pendant.
The festival was screening her new movie Daddio, and an interim agreement with SAG-AFTRA allowed the actress to attend the event despite the ongoing strike. The project was written and directed by Christy Hall, and co-stars Sean Penn. The story follows a woman having a long, honest conversation with a driver who picks her up at JFK Airport.
During an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Hall described Johnson’s character as someone who “seamlessly balances between being sexy and foul-mouthed while still maintaining an innocent softness,” adding she “also has this cheeky curiosity, a playful grace that permits this conversation to unfold, because her character isn’t afraid of the colorful personalities that roam the city of New York.”
Johnson lives in Malibu with her long time boyfriend Chris Martin. In an interview with Vanity Fair in 2022, she discussed her blended family with Martin and his two teenagers with ex-wife Gwyneth Paltrow.
“Maybe I think about relationships like that differently because I grew up in my family,” she says. “We were all cool…Obviously, there were times where it was not cool, but I experienced that, so I don’t want that in my life. I don’t want any kids to experience anything like that. It’s better to be kind, and it’s also really nice that everybody actually really loves each other and has each other’s backs.”
