Bizarre UFO sightings mapped across UK city which even Nasa 'can't explain' – The Mirror
UK skies were jammed full of UFOs over the course of the last two years according to a map made up of alleged sightings of unidentified objects which even NASA ‘can’t explain’
Strange sightings in the skies of a UK city have seen scientists at Nasa stumped by peculiar objects which could be UFOs.
Over the last two-and-a-half years, there have been a total of nine reported UFO sightings in Leeds, and not even the National Aeronautics and Space Administration can figure out what they are. A recently published report from the space agency looked into hundreds of UAPs, more commonly referred to as unidentified anomalous phenomena. NASA administrator Bill Nelson has since revealed their conclusions, and the space organisation admits they simply do not know what is in the skies of Leeds.
"The Nasa independent study team did not find any evidence that UAP has an extra-terrestrial origin," Mr Nelson said. The sightings prompted the space organisation to open up a new research position. Mr Nelson added: "But we don’t know what they are. That’s why I’m announcing that Nasa has appointed a Nasa director of UAP research. They are being tasked with developing and overseeing the implementation of Nasa’s vision for UAP research."
The space-exploring agency simply cannot explain certain sightings and with 1,000 unexplained objects spotted in UK skies from January 2021 to May this year, according to LeicestershireLIve. Three sightings were reported in the heart of Leicester city while a further three were noted in Hinckley, Market Harborough and Coalville. Leeds also noted its fair share of UAP activity, with seven sightings in 2021 and a further two last year.
An interactive map previously sourced by The Mirror showcased the sightings up and down the country. Claims made on the sightings included a "cigar-shaped craft" in Chester, a "round saucer-like object" in Bedford and a "soundless" rocket which had "flames over the front" in Hartlepool.
But communications over UAP sightings may be far older than this recent NASA report according to UFO Identified head Ash Ellis. He said: "There were almost 500 reported sightings in the UK last year, with likely many times that number going unreported showing that there is a genuine concern around unidentified phenomena being seen across the country.
"There is no doubt in my mind that the UK has, at the very least, had some sort of communication with the US with regards to their UAP programmes, this was confirmed as much when the Canadian military recently confirmed that it had taken part in a forum for Five Eyes intelligence partners in May this year that was held by AARO director Sean Kirkpatrick. The Five Eyes is an intelligence alliance between the U.S., Canada, Australia, New Zealand and the U.K."
