Surprised locals spot weird bouncing 'UFO' darting around the sky at night – The Mirror

Locals in Paradise, California, spotted some strange shadows flying in the sky on September 2 and shared a video that shows the unidentified objects moving through the clouds
This is the bizarre moment stunned locals spot an unidentified flying object glowing in the sky and moving through the clouds before disappearing.
A video filmed in Paradise, a town in California that was destroyed by a fire in 2018, shows an orb illuminating the sky and then darting around. The object appeared and disappeared multiple times, apparently leaving a trail of light behind it.
The clip, filmed on September 2, was filmed in front of a home. The resident explained: "My husband and I were outside in front of our house in Paradise, California when we observed an object with erratic behavior moving across the sky. The object was later followed by a second moving object at which time I pulled out my phone to record it.
"I caught it right after the first object disappeared in the clouds but we observed the second object's erratic movement. The second object also disappeared in the cloud."
It is not the first time mysterious objects have been spotted in the area, as according to the UFO Hunters website, there were reports of alien activity in Paradise also in 2016, 2017, and 2018. The latest alleged sighting comes after US politicians discussed the Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena Disclosure Act of 2023 over the summer.
Earlier this month, NASA said they were joining the "hunt" for extraterrestrial life, with a 36-page document now explaining future plans. The purpose of this entirely new chapter in this agency's history is to "move conjecture and conspiracy towards science and sanity," said Dr David Spergle, president of the UAP independent study team. "And you do that with data."
"The top takeaway from the study is that there's a lot more to learn," says Bill Nelson, Agency administrator. "They did not find any evidence that UAPs have an extraterrestrial origin, but we don't know what they are," Nelson continued to say. He also said that NASA will now specifically have a director for UAP research.
For nine months, NASA's 16-person independent study team has laid the groundwork for future studies on the nature of UAPs for NASA and other organisations. The team worked on identifying "how data gathered by civilian government entities, commercial data, and data from other sources can potentially be analysed" to shed light on UAPs.
On September 14, the team announced their results and recommendations, like a roadmap, for potential UAP data analysis by the agency going forward. NASA acknowledges the stigma around discussing and reporting UFOs and is hoping that their "official" name will help curb that so that they can gather actual data.
They plan to create a system to allow individuals to report any flying objects so that NASA can have a transparent record where they can track and possibly publicly explain some instances or not. "At present, analysis of UAP data is hampered by poor sensor calibration, the lack of multiple measurements, the lack of sensor metadata, and the lack of baseline data. Making a concerted effort to improve all aspects is vital, and NASA’s expertise should be comprehensively leveraged as part of a robust and systematic data acquisition strategy within the whole-of-government framework," said the summary of the results.
"Exploring the unknown in space and the atmosphere is at the heart of who we are at NASA," said Thomas Zurbuchen, associate administrator of the Science Mission Directorate at NASA Headquarters in Washington. "Understanding the data we have surrounding unidentified anomalous phenomena is critical to helping us draw scientific conclusions about what is happening in our skies. Data is the language of scientists and makes the unexplainable, explainable."
